13 of my monotypes are exhibited at Ristorante La Toscana - from Feb. 26 in the Banquet Room till April 1st - on the 1st they will be hanging in the front of the main dinning room until April 22.
I invited 6 of my friends to give me a few words that came to their minds as they looked at my monotypes. You will find their words with the images within the frames. The other 7 monotypes have quotes that express my thoughts when looking at my monotypes.
I enjoy incorporating my friends ideas with my art. And even though I believe the monotypes stand on their own, I feel that the added words compliment the images and bring unique and personal meanings to the prints. |
